Summerlin is unfolding in villages, each centered around its own major park or golf course. Currently, there are 15 villages in various stages of development. Eventually, the community will be home to 30 distinct villages, each featuring dozens of thoughtfully planned neighborhoods and a unique selection of homes, townhomes, condominiums, and apartments. Each Summerlin village has its own distinctive style of architecture and design, evident in streetscapes, landscaping and village walls.
To find a custom lot to build your dream home, choose The Ridges neighborhood. Summerlin is home to the first PGA TOUR Tournament Players Club (TPC) stadium golf course in Nevada. The Howard Hughes Corporation entered into an exclusive agreement with the PGA TOUR to bring the TPC to Summerlin. This private 18-hole championship golf course, which opened in 1991, is located at Summerlin's front door in The Hills South Village near Summerlin Parkway and Town Center Drive. Summerlin is home to 8 private and public golf courses, including BEARS BEST, TPC the Canyons, Angel Park and Badlands Golf Club in Queensridge.
Red Rock Country Club

Red Rock Country Club is an exclusive guard gated community located in Summerlin, contiguous to the Red Rock Conservation Area. Homes here run from the high 300's to over a Million. This is a beautiful community that, when completed, will feature 2 Arnold Palmer golf courses, 44,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with gourmet dining and a 10,000 sqaure-foot Sports Club with aquatic center, lighted tennis courts and cabana grill. Social and golf memberships are available to residents.
Spanish Trail

This beautiful guard gated community is located approximately 15 minutes west of the strip. It is bordered on the north by Tropicana and on the east by Rainbow. There are 1252 homes here in 11 separate neighborhoods/communities. Homes range in price from the mid $200,000's up into the millions of dollars. Townhomes range in price from the high $100,000 to the mid $300,000's. Amenities include fitness center, tennis center, 2 pools and 2 spas. The 4 townhome neighborhoods have access to these as well as their own pools and spas. Memberships are available to the Spanish Trails Golf and Country Club. These are offered and sold by individual members. The association provides lists of memberships available for sale. Most of these homes were constructed in the 1980's and 1990's.
Seven Hills

The master-planned community of Seven Hills is just enough out of the way to be insulated from the hustle and bustle of city life while only a short drive from major business districts, scenic areas and recreation attractions. Situated in the rolling foothills of the Black Mountain Range in Henderson, Seven Hills overlooks one of the world's most dazzling skylines -- the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Spectacular as the location may be, one of the most unique aspects of Seven Hills is that one-third of the land is dedicated to open space, parks and neighborhood recreational areas.The Rio Secco Golf Club, designed by Rees Jones, provides both stunning scenery and challenging play.
Green Valley Ranch

This planned community is located south of Lake Mead Dr. in Henderson. It extends both east and west of Valle Verde Dr. and south of the 215 Beltway. It is a small planned community with around 3100 residences. All the homes are relatively new with a good selection on resale properties on the market. It is distinguished by its beautiful parks and recreation areas. Lots to choose from here from condos to smaller homes to customs. With the opening of 215 beltway past Valle Verde the commute to the rest of Las Vegas has become much easier. It is approximately a 15 min drive to the center of the strip.
Anthem Country Club
Anthem Country Club is located in the southeast part of the Las Vegas valley in the city of Henderson. It is part of the planned community of Anthem which includes Sun City Anthem, Anthem Coventry as well as additional communities in the process of development. Anthem Country Club is a guard gated community of just under 2,000 acres. 1,700 homes are projected to be built at this time. Production homes range in size from 1,275 sq. ft. to 5797 sq. ft. Custom homes are also built here. This community is built around a Keith Foster/Hale Irwin designed golf course that is 7,267 yards from the championship tees. Golf membership is separate. Southern Highlands

This 2,300 acre master planned community is actually two communities in one. The north end, "The Estates" features the Southern Highlands Golf and Country Club. Custom home sites surround the golf course with several magnificent homes built as well as many under construction. In addition, Christopher Homes is building high end production homes, many with golf course frontage. Prices range from the mid $400,000's well into the millions.
The south end features "The Villages of Southern Highlands". Here more than 75 model homes are showcased by more than an dozen builders. Southern Highlands is planned to include a trail system, public and private schools, shopping venues, restaurants, and medical facilities. Parks will encompass more than 50 acres.
Sun City Anthem is the flagship of all the Sun City retirement communities and the largest projected age restricted community in this area with an anticipated build-out at over 6,300 homes. It is located in the southeast, in Henderson, south of Lake Mead Blvd and straight up Eastern Ave (south). Homes range from just under 1100 sq. ft. over 3,000. Amenities include one very large community center, two completed golf courses and tennis courts. More facilities will be added as the community continues to grow. The golf courses are not owned by the homeowners, but green fees for residents are less than for the general public and residents have a priority on tee times. Construction of homes and facilities will continue for several years to come. Infrastructure is developing, especially along Eastern. This includes a recently completed Henderson St. Rose Dominican Hospital.
Note: Originally planned to include over 9,000 homes and 3 golf courses, the new development plan will be for 6,300 homes with 2 golf courses. The 75,000 sq. ft. community center is in place, and the Phase II 35,000 sq. ft. recreation center is currently under construction. The construction of the Phase III recreation center planned for 24,000 sq. ft. is expected to open in the Spring of 2006. The land freed up by this downsizing has been used to build a separate new smaller age restricted community, Solera, with it's own recreation amenities.

Siena
Siena is a 667-acre age-qualified community located within the master-planned community of Summerlin. Secluded behind a six-foot high masonry perimeter wall and manned gate-guarded entries will be approximately 2,000 homes surrounding a Schmidt-Curley designed 18-hole championship golf course. Residents will enjoy a wide array of amenities in the Village Center overlooking Lake Siena, elegant gardens, cascading waterfalls and several dramatic holes of golf.
The 15,000-square-foot Golf Clubhouse, contains a spacious full-service golf shop, casual Grille Room and an exterior dining patio
The 39,000-square-foot Village Community Center is the hub for social and club activities. At its center, is a 7,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom and stage facility and nearly 9,000 square-feet of arts and crafts space, meeting rooms, library, business center, computer lab, and billiard and card rooms.
The 15,900-square-foot Health & Fitness Center contains a Wellness Center, staffed by Summerlin Hospital, that provides diagnostic services, plus state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight equipment, gentlemen's and ladies' locker rooms, each with its own sauna, steam and massage rooms, and a four lane, 25 meter indoor lap swimming pool.
In addition to the extensive array of indoor recreational amenities is an exciting offering of outdoor amenities including a resort-style swimming pool, a tennis club with four lighted courts, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, and an extensive trail system.
Sun City Summerlin
This 2,400 acre community was completed by Del Webb in 1998. There were 7,779 homes constructed which house over 14,000 residents. It is located in the northwest with an approximate 20 to 25 min. commute to the strip and airport. This community took approximately 10 years to complete. Sizes of homes range from 2 bedroom, 1 bath under 1100 sq. ft. to 3 bedrooms at over 3,000 sq. ft.. There are normally between 80 and 100 resale homes available. This is a very small number considering the total number of homes and reflects a high demand for this product and community. The amenities include a total of 5 pools, 2 of which are indoor, 3 golf courses, hobby rooms, tennis courts, a racquetball court, 3 restaurants, 4 community centers, miniature golf and really, the list goes on and on. The golf courses are homeowner owned as opposed to Siena and Sun City Anthem. In terms of amenities, this community has more of just about everything. More tennis courts, hobby rooms, pools, and community centers. The local infrastructure is in place, with lots of convenient shopping and services.
Note: With the downsizing of Sun City Anthem, Sun City Summerlin will the largest of the local age restricted communities. It does not seem likely that there will ever be another community that will offer the combination of services and amenities that are found here.
Sun City MacDonald Ranch
Sun City MacDonald Ranch is located in southeast, just east of Green Valley Parkway and south of the I215. It is approximately 15 min from the strip and airport. It is nestled up against the Black Mountains. Amenities include a 18 hole golf course, recreation center, tennis, jogging, and swimming (outdoor pool only). At approximately 2,400 homes it is by far Del Webb's smallest local age restricted community. Homes range from under 1100 sq. ft. to around 2,200 sq. ft. The golf course is an executive course with very low green fee's for the residents. Along with Sun City Summerlin it is distinguished by the fact that the golf course in owned by the homeowner's.
